The Albufera Natural Park is one of the most representative and valuable coastal wetlands of the Valencian Community and the Mediterranean basin. With an area of 21,120 hectares, it is located just 10 km from Valencia and is easily accessible.
Throughout the year, the great biodiversity of this protected natural space allows us to observe an important variety of fauna and flora. L'Albufera was declared Natural Park in 1986.
It includes the municipalities of Valencia, Alfafar, Sedaví, Massanassa, Catarroja, Albal, Beniparrell, Silla, Sollana, Sueca, Cullera, Albalat de la Ribera and Algemesí.

Filming conditions and permits:
The Natural Resources Management Plan (PRUG) regulates the shooting of films, documentaries and ads or commercials in the Natural Park.
In the interests of preserving the Park, filming of any kind is not permitted in the "Protected Areas", mainly in the southern area of La Devesa (art. 77 of the PRUG). In all other cases, the procedure is to request authorisation from the owner of the land who, being located within the Albufera Natural Park, must request a report from the Technical Management Office of the Park (Oficina Técnica)
In the event that the filming takes place within the areas owned by Valencia City Council (lake of l'Albufera and Monte de la Devesa), a request must be made to the Tourism Service of the aforementioned city council, which in turn will request information from other Services involved (Devesa-Albufera Service, Beaches Service), in addition to the comments made to the T.O. of Park Management.
If the filming takes place on the beach and areas of the maritime-terrestrial domain, permission will be requested from the Valencia Coastal Demarcation (department representing the Ministry of the Environment, Rural and Marine).
